Brinkman 800-5000-0 Q-Beam Rechargeable Spotlight

We had an eventful camping trip in early July some years back, with our daughter, her husband and our 9 month old grandson.  My husband and our son-in-law back packed six miles into a high mountain lake.  They planned to spend the night and catch some fish in the morning before coming out.  When they got back we learned that the lake was frozen over and the guys had slept on snow before getting there.  My daughter and I had some stories of our own to tell.  We had stayed in the remote camp to sleep in a tent.  It’s a known fact that two women alone with a baby camping can get a little nervous after dark.

While cooking dinner we had a fun visitor.  A curious deer walked into our serene camp setting and was not at all concerned about us.  We took several pictures and the deer casually walked off.  After dark in the tent was another story, there were noises outside!  We had a wick type lantern that takes “too much time” to light.  The Brinkman 800-5000-0 Q-Beam Rechargeable Spotlight would have been a better comfort to us for checking out those suspicious noises outside the tent.

Whetstone Nylon 7 Pocket Vest With 4 Adjustable Straps

Every summer we have company come visit us with the hopes of camping and fishing.  There are several great places to fish within a few miles of our house.  Last year my husband, a friend and a grandson decided to go canoeing down a river close to where we live.  Everyone had their life jackets on, and all went well for the first two miles.  They stopped to fish several holes.  Then the winding stream became more challenging and they were over powered by a rapid channel that made a sharp turn off a bank under a large bush.  Lodged sideways and helpless against the bush, the canoe quickly filled with water and capsized.  It happened so fast, there was no time to think about anything but surviving.

Everyone made it to safety unhurt, but they lost their lunch and the cooler it was in, hubby’s fishing vest and the battery for the trolling motor on the canoe.  The Whetstone Nylon 7 Pocket Vest with 4 Adjustable Straps is definitely on our shopping list before fishing this year.

Easily Carry Your Table With Umbrella On Your Next Trip

On day trips to explore or just going on a picnic, it can be nice to have the comfort of a table and chairs for picnic lunch.  We sometimes set a stove on the table to cook, and have a place to sit too.  The sun can be hot and uncomfortable if you are out for very long, so, an umbrella on the table is ideal to protect from the sun.

This Table with Umbrella is easy to carry in the truck of your car, as it folds into a compact carry case.  Take this one to the hills, the beach, the backyard or camping.

7000ci Internal Frame Camping Hiking Backpack Travel Bag

Being in a hunting family, we have several items that we use on a regular basis – whether it be staying overnight somewhere or carrying out game that we might be lucky enough to bag.  We have tried different backpacks, rolling carts and sleds in the snow.  It is very handy to have a well designed backpack with the supplies needed in the field for many different occasions.

When my husband and a friend went hunting for big horn sheep, hiking up to 11,000 feet elevation, they both carried backpacks and were very concerned about the weight of every piece of equipment.  One had an external tubing frame and the other was an internal frame design.  The internal frame pack proved to be the superior design for comfort and utility, but was not near as nice as the 7000ci Internal Frame Camping Hiking Backpack Travel Bag.  This one must be outstanding.

Sleep With The Assurance Of An Alarm Security Bar

Have you ever wondered what you would hear if someone broke into your house, perhaps while you were sleeping or in the basement?  How about when in a hotel room or dorm room at night?  Some people might hear broken glass, footsteps or someone tripping, but not a quietly tried doorknob.  Other people with good hearing might hear most anything unusual, unless they are very sound sleepers.

Elderly people and others with significant hearing deficits would not likely hear any of those things.  A good solution for all is an Alarm Security Bar that will sound a shrill siren or barking dog noise if someone touches the door knob.  That alone could certainly scare away the intruders while alerting the occupants.  The alarm is powered by a 9-volt battery (not included).

Denison Insta-Light Propane Stove/Grill – A Pleasure To Use

When the power goes out or an earthquake disrupts your natural gas supply, how flexible would your ability be to cook meals or heat baby formula, while waiting for repairs to be completed?  I recommend having a substantial portable two burner cook stove that is, also, great for camping, tailgate parties or emergency survival conditions as needed.  We value ours for its great flexibility, convenience and adaptability to all sorts of applications from picnics to any unplanned event where food preparation or boiled water is needed.

If you add easy cleaning, instant lighting, flame wind guards, a quality appearance and self storage, what’s not to like about having a reliable, secondary cook stove?  All of these features and more are included with a Denison Insta-Light Propane Stove/Grill, a possession you will value.

Mountain Boy Classic Flyer Sled Brings Back Fun Memories

When I was growing up, I lived in a small town of about 10,000 people in a mountainous area.  We got snow!  One of the roads in town was closed to traffic in the winter because it was classified as “The Sledding Hill”.  It was always fun to go with friends and speed down the hill on our steerable runner sleds to see who could go the farthest as the road flattened out.  We would wax the runners on our sleds for greater speed.  Sometimes, we would be daring and go down head first steering with our hands — but most of the time we sat down on the sled and controlled the steering bar with our feet.

Today most sleds are, one season, plastic saucers or sheets, with no real steering, or rectangular boxes of all sizes and shapes.  Yes, they are lighter when you have to pull them back to the top of the hill, but, I prefer runner sleds.  We sure had fun with ours that were similar to the Mountain Boy Classic Flyer Sled, and this one is built to last a lifetime.

Be Proud Of your Belt Buckle – Elk (Diamond Cut)

Some people collect coins, stamps, buttons or shot glasses.  We know a cowboy who collects belt buckles.  He has a variety of buckles from every state and country that he has traveled.  Several unique, one-of-a-kind buckles are very large and were awarded to him for rodeo performances.  Many glass door display boxes, showing his buckles, hang on all of his basement walls and other walls in his home.  Some of the buckles have fascinating stories and are quite the conversation pieces.

Being an avid hunter, he has numerous buckles displaying game animals, including several highlighting elk.  He just keeps building more display boxes.  We think this Belt Buckle – Elk (Diamond Cut) would be a good addition to his collection.  I don’t collect buckles, but I would be proud to wear this one.

Evaporative Air Cooler with Ionizer and Cold Press

In the climate where we live, there are just a couple of weeks in the summer that we think are really hot and uncomfortable.  Many folks here don’t think it is necessary to have air conditioning.  Many of you at more southern latitudes and lower elevations would have other opinions in your climate.  Wherever you are, when it is hot in the day time and does not cool down at night, it makes it difficult to sleep.  Even opening the windows may not do the trick.  Personally, I have a hard time with heat, but love our summer time.

Every summer I think this is the year I am going to break down and buy an Evaporative Air Cooler with Ionizer and Cold Press.  I usually wish I had one for a few days and then the weather turns comfortable again.  I wonder if this will be the year!

Chef Buddy™ Portable Grill & Cooler Combo Is Very Handy

We occasionally take car trips for a day to explore areas close to home.  I usually make and take a lunch to be prepared for a full days excursion.  We don’t like to fill the car with a lot of items that have to be unloaded when we get home.  That would reduce some of the pleasure.  It is more enjoyable for us to keep it simple.

It’s fun to discover new features of our surrounding area and maybe even stop to fish if we find a nice little stream or hidden lake.  With the Chef Buddy Portable Grill & Cooler Combo you would always be prepared to cook any fish on the spot, or use just the cooler to keep the fish cold for the trip home.  Another item to add to the shopping list!
